A HASLEMERE woman who received substantial damages after her husband died following brain surgery, has spoken this week of her determination to put her tragic loss behind her and "get on with her life".
Elizabeth Cattell (48), who lives in Henley Common, sued over the death of her husband, Adam, at the private Wellington Hospital in London on December 1, 1994.
Although the original claim was for between £1 and £2 million, the settlement figure, which was agreed in London's High Court on Monday without any admission of liability, has not been disclosed.
