A POPULAR nursery in Liphook has been given a stay of execution until Easter.

On Armistice Day, the partners of The Willows received an e-mail from Bramshott & Liphook Parish Council, saying the authority was withdrawing its December eviction notice and extending the nursery's stay until April.

Owner Jackie Finlayson said of the reprieve for the nursery in the Beacon building at Liphook recreation ground: "We have received the best news."
