THE Willows Nursery is back in action and has this week opened the doors to its new home in the Canada Room at Liphook’s Millennium Centre, in the heart of the village.

“Children have settled very quickly into their new surroundings,” said Jackie Finlayson.

“They are very happy and also love playing on the terrace outside, which we have fenced off securely.”

After receiving a full Ofsted inspection and re-registration confirmation only last week, the three partners of The Willows, Jackie Finlayson, Jill Cooke and Jannice Bowley, were able to move into the Canada Room this Monday, providing a cheerful, safe and fun environment for children aged two to five years old.

With enough storage and access to a separate part of the kitchen, they can provide the same facilities as before, as well as plenty of parking in the immediate vicinity. We have every intention to carry on providing the nursery for the community,” Jackie added.

“Parents have been very loyal and waited for us to re-open, which we really appreciate.”

After half term, the partners of The Willows are planning some pre-Christmas fun as well as a big festive party for the end of term on Thursday, December 17.

The nursery is open between 9am and 3.30pm, Monday to Thursday.
