WITH Christmas on the horizon, the festive Birdworld elves are busy working away creating the park’s spectacular Winter Wonderland ready to welcome families from November 26.

Now in its 17th year, the Birdworld Winter Wonderland experience consists of a walk-through grotto full of magical animated characters, sparkling lights and beautiful decorations.

Visitors will also have the chance to meet the park’s reindeer which will be helping Santa throughout December, along with other friendly animals from the Jenny Wren Farm.

After enjoying the different winter scenes, the impish Birdworld elves will welcome families into their workshop before introducing the children to Santa to receive their present or a mince pie and a hot fruit punch for adults.

Mark Anderson, general park manager at Birdworld, said: “Christmas is going to be a lot of fun at Birdworld this year. Not only will Santa Claus be making some very special visits to our Winter Wonderland to help spread lots of festive cheer with our visitors, but we’ll also have some friendly animals visiting from the park’s Jenny Wren Farm to keep children of all ages entertained.

“We can’t wait for the festivities to start and look forward to welcoming local residents and visitors from across Surrey and Hampshire to Birdworld this Christmas.”
