VISITORS to Birdworld were greeted by a spectacle of spooks and a coven of very wicked witches this Hallowe’en half-term.

The wildlife park creaked open the doors of its Spooktacular Hallowe’en Grotto, enrolled young witches and wizards into the Birdworld Magic School and took passengers aboard the special Hallowe’en Train Ride.

Visitors were also encouraged to dress up for the occasion and enjoyed a fun-filled week of tricks and treats - adding to the park’s usual feeding sessions and displays.

Mark Anderson, general park manager at Birdworld, said: “The team here at Birdworld had a fantastic time celebrating Hallowe’en Activity Week.

“It was great to see everyone having so much fun and it was especially exciting to see all the different spooky costume ideas that our team members and visitors had each day.

“We wish everyone who came along to Birdworld this week a very happy Hallowe’en and now look forward to starting the preparations for our Christmas at Birdworld celebrations.”
