POLICE are urgently seeking witnesses to a collision on the A31 near Four Marks in which an Alton man lost his life.
Bryan Webb, 58, was caught in a collision involving three vehicles on the southbound carriageway of the A31 between the Chawton roundabout and Four Marks village on January 13.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Webb’s family have released a statement paying tribute to a “greatly loved family man, taken too soon, who will be missed by so many”.
Two other people, a man and a woman, suffered minor injuries in the collision and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police were called to the scene at 6.52pm, closing the road for several hours while they carried out an investigation.
The road was fully re-opened at 2am on January 14.
