POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman had her bag snatched in Farnham early on Tuesday morning. The robbery took place in Waverley Lane at 6- 15 am when the victim, in her 20s, was walking along the road. A VW Golf drew up and one of the occupants asked directions. The passenger got out of the car and attacked the woman, snatching her Nike rucksack. He got back into the car which then drove off at speed towards Tilford. The driver is described as being possibly an Asian man and aged under 25. The passenger is described as an Asian male, under 35, around 5 ft 11 ins tall, of slim build and wearing dark clothing. One may have been wearing a baseball cap. The victim was shaken by the ordeal and taken to Frimley Park Hospital for treatment to her injuries, which included swelling and bruising to her face, back and leg.
