A WOMAN has been jailed for 16 months for falsely claiming she had been raped while walking through a park in Farnham.
Maria Brustenga-Vilaseca, 27, told officers she was making her way home from Farnham railway station in the early hours of April 20 this year when the attack took place in Borelli Walk.
She claimed she was walking through the park area when a stranger approached her from behind, dragged her to the ground and subjected her to a brutal and violent assault.
