A WOMAN suffered facial injuries in a crash opposite The Mill at Elstead pub on Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened shortly before 1.45pm when a BMW and an Audi collided at the B3001 Farnham Road junction with Fulbrook Lane.

According to eye witnesses, one car was travelling from the Farnham direction on the B3001 while the other was pulling out of the lane.

The female driver of the BMW was said to be “very distressed” following the crash and was later treated for cheek injuries by paramedics.

However, according to a spokesman for the ambulance service, she suffered only “minor injuries” and required no further hospital treatment.

One lane of the B3001 was temporarily blocked by the crash and Surrey Police also attended the incident to manage the traffic.
