A MOTHER and daughter had to walk more than a mile along the unlit country lanes from the village centre to Bentley railway station in the early hours after being dumped there by the South West Trains replacement bus service.
The pair, who do not wish to be named, had been in London for a show and had caught the last train out of
Waterloo, bound for Alton.
But they were forced to leave the train at Farnham due to an unscheduled line closure caused by signal failure.
