YOUNGSTERS at Grayswood Nursery enjoy daily sessions in the forest school held in its woods.

The nursery’s forest school adventures are a vital part of the learning process. Its outdoor activities help to “ground” the children and build their self confidence.

Nursery manager Kate Dean said: “The photo was taken on our usual daily session in our woodland.

“The girls and I were making up stories and travelling to magic faraway lands with the help of Lindworm our friendly dragon!

“The children love Lindworm who we’ve had living in our woodland with us for nearly a year. He was carved for us by AndyTreepirate. ”

Following the success of last year’s event, Grayswood Nursery and Forest School is holding a Muddy day Fun Run in its woodland on Sunday, March 17, for St Patrick’s Day.
