CHRISTMAS was in full swing at the Woodlarks Centre on Lodge Hill Road, as the Farnham community joined residents and staff for its popular Christmas fair.

Julie West, activity co-ordinator at Woodlarks, which provides accessible facilities and on-going support through a team of dedicated and trained staff, said: “It was really good, one of the best we have ever had. Thank you to all of the local community for supporting us. We had great raffle prizes donated by The Bourne Stores and The Bourne Pharmacy.

“There was a lot of residents from the village here, it was very well attended. I think this has put us back on the map.

“Shirley Mansell donated us a huge hamper for the raffle, alongside side many small ones which people could purchase.

“We are just really pleased, the residents helped us run the event, they were working on the stalls and helping with the tombola. It was a really good day.”
