CHILDREN at Wootey Junior School have been thrilling parents and staff with their latest thrilling stage performance.
The Wootey Thriller, which incorporated many of Michael Jackson’s famous hits, involved some 150 children in years three, four and five acting, singing and dancing, allowing every child an opportunity to perform and blame it on the boogie!
Pupils, staff and parents always look forward to the summer show, which is a chance for them to get together and have some end-of-term fun.
Thriller incorporated the story of the Wootey ghost and a group of cheeky children who like to scare one of the teachers.
And the staff all worked together to ensure the show ran smoothly, often modelling some Michael Jackson moves themselves.
“It was,” said choreographer and teacher Lauren Clarke, “a memorable show for another great year at Wootey Junior School.”
