WORK has begun on the CHASE Christopher's Hospice in Artington, near Guildford, following an initial three-year appeal which has seen the charity raise £4 million.

A celebration to mark the start of construction was held on Tuesday at Loseley Park, attended by guests including CHASE supporter Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia, Deputy Mayor of Waverley Michael Goodridge, Penelope Keith and CHASE appeal patron Phillip Schofield.
