WORK starts this week to close a gap in the central reservation at a junction on the A3 near Thursley, as part of the Hindhead bypass scheme.

The road layout is being altering where Lea Coach Road and Warren Mere meet the A3, and the Highways Agency say there will be safer entry and exit points for Warren Mere.

Improvements will also be made to the signing, road markings and drainage and part of the carriageway will be resurfaced. Work is expected to be completed by March.
