WORK is due to begin at the end of this month on a £2.39 million project which aims to propel Alton Community Hospital, Chawton Park Road into the new Millennium.
The Loddon NHS and North Hampshire Hospital trusts announced this week that a contract had been awarded to build the promised new outpatient services, due for completion by early summer next year.
