WHITEHILL Working Men's Club was pulled down this week after it was gutted by a fire in January.
More than 40 firefighters tackled the blaze in January, but failed to save the club, which was totally destroyed. Work to pull down the remainder of the building started on Monday and the site was cleared by Wednesday.
