Greg Stafford MP has visited St Peter’s Church of England Primary School in Wrecclesham to congratulate a pupil whose artwork has been chosen as the winning design for his official Christmas card.

Isabelle, a Year 3 pupil at the school, was selected as the overall winner following a public vote last month.

Her festive design, featuring a nativity scene alongside the words Peace, Love and Joy, has been used as Mr Stafford’s official Christmas card this year.

During his visit, Mr Stafford met Isabelle and her classmates to thank them for taking part in the competition and to present Isabelle with her winning card.

The finished cards were printed locally in Liphook by Print + Design IT, supporting a local business in the run-up to Christmas.

Mr Stafford said: “It was a real pleasure to visit St Peter’s and meet Isabelle in person. Her design captures the true spirit of Christmas and it was wonderful to see the enthusiasm and creativity from pupils across the constituency.

“I’m very proud to be sharing her artwork as my official Christmas card this year.”

During the visit, Isabelle and Mr Stafford also jointly signed a card to be sent to The King and Queen at Buckingham Palace.

Mr Stafford thanked St Peter’s C of E Primary School for welcoming him and for encouraging pupils to take part in the competition, which he said has become a popular annual tradition.
