A HUGE articulated lorry carrying cement was stuck for nine hours blocking a narrow lane after the driver took the wrong route.

The 12-wheeled lorry was unable to go forward or backwards after its back axle became stuck in a ditch on a narrow part of the Bell Vale Lane, Haslemere lane – leaving Valewood House nursing home and nearby properties cut off to traffic last Monday.
