LIPHOOK-based Dreams Come True charity will benefit from some of the proceedings of this year’s X-Factor winner’s single Forever Young by Louisa Johnson (pictured).
The single will be in aid will of Together for Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase charities.
Dreams Come True is a member of Together for Short Lives and the charity single is now available to download with CDs on sale in stores.
X-Factor founder Simon Cowell said: “I have worked with these inspirational charities for many years and I’m delighted the winner’s single sales will help families who are going through such unimaginably difficult times. In 2015, raising funds for hospice care is more important than ever.
“The money we raise will make a real difference.”
Syco Music will donate 100 per cent of its profits from the sale of each CD and download and in respect of all streaming in the UK to be shared equally by between the good causes. At least £1 for each CD sold will be donated and at least 20p for each UK download, the company confirmed.
Together for Short Lives chief Barbara Gelb said: “By buying the X-Factor winner’s single you will be helping children and their families get the round-the-clock care they desperately need.
“The money will support a range of extraordinary palliative care services right across the UK delivering incredible support and lifeline care to children with short lives.”
