BUDDING entrepreneurs at Weydon School have started a car washing service for teachers and staff during their lunch break.

Enterprise co-founder James Martin, who runs the service alongside fellow year 10 pupil Robbie Lee, presented the idea at a staff meeting before the October half-term and received full backing from the staff.

Because of academic commitments, the two students only provide the car wash service on Mondays and Tuesdays, employing a small workforce to get the job done.

Staff at the school are supportive of Robbie and James' business venture and actively encourage business development for all their students.

They hope it will let them gain first-hand experience of enterprise and management skills while earning a bit of extra pocket money.
