Young musicians combine talents at inter-schools workshop

MUSICIANS from Bordon schools took part in the Mill Chase pyramid orchestral workshop on Tuesday. In pyramid concerts, each school taking part sends a group of musicians to form an orchestra for the afternoon. Musicians were sent from Mill Chase, Weyford Juniors, Weyford Infants, Woodlea Primary, The Holme School in Headley, St Matthew’s at Blackmoor, Bordon County Juniors, Bordon County Infants and The Meadow school. The pyramid workshop is an annual event. This year it was composed and conducted by Simon Wyld. Mr Wyld has helped with the Petersfield Pavane, the Bordon Bop, Aldershot on Parade and King Alfred’s Court.
