A YOUTH club that rose from the ashes following a devastating fire could be moving to a new site in Petersfield.

Exciting plans to move the Kings Arms to The Avenue recreation ground have been mooted to town councillors.

The club is looking for a new premises as the owner of its Courtyard home is looking to develop the site.

The Kings Arms moved to the building off the Festival Hall car park after its previous home was gutted following an arson attack in 2009.

Supporters have been assured the club will not be kicked out when their short-term lease runs out in September.

But having already risen from the ashes, it's clear this phoenix needs to fly again and find itself a permanent new home.
