AFTER taking a summer break, Liphook Youth Club has returned to the Millennium Centre, launching the autumn season with a barbecue for existing members as well as new ones.
The club caters for children aged 11-16 and organisers are hoping to attract more younger members to take part this autumn.
Staffed by volunteer youth workers from across the parish, the club is an informal and popular place for young people to hang out, chat, play games as well as sports, have fun and make friends.
Chairman Dr John Tough told The Herald: “We have a wonderful team of volunteers to deliver the sessions but are always looking for more people to join us so that we can offer an even greater range of activities, including cookery, craft and a selection of sports sessions.
The Monday evening sessions, which are held at the Millennium Centre between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, cost £1.50 per child.
