EAST Hampshire District Council has been accused of "letting youth down" by failing to maintain a building in Alton that councillors claim could have been used over the past four years for youth activities.

In one of the most deprived wards in the district, the former Alton Boys Club building in Nursery Road is now in such poor condition that it may be too costly to repair.
