ZIGGY, a stunning green and white striped Haslemere Hog. is looking for a new home.

Hand-painted by the award wining artist Dominique Salm one of Britain’s top wildlife artists, the piggy – inspired by pop star David Bowie – is being raffled by Woodie & Morris, the independent womenswear boutique in Petworth Road.

All the proceeds will go to the Haslemere-based Hunter Centre, supporting people with dementia and the Alzheimers Society.

Part of one of the hugely successful Haslemere Hogs, project people have the opportunity of paying just £10 for one of 100 squares on a board – and the chance of taking home the house-trained and loveable porker (pictured) if their name is pulled out of the hat.

In the meantime, shop owners Clive and Mel cycled 54 miles in the recent London to Brighton cycle ride to raise more money for the Alzheimer’s Society and together with the raffle are aiming to raise around £2,000 for the charity.
