YEAR one pupils in Aberdeen and York class at Hale School had an exciting afternoon when ‘Zoo Lab’ came to show them a variety of exotic creatures.

The children were fascinated and very excited by the different creatures, which included a snake, tarantula, gerbil and an African snail, and were allowed to stroke and hold them.

The visit has come from a school topic entitled ‘Paws, Claws and Whiskers’. The children will be following up the visit with writing and craft work, and the parents will be coming to see an exhibition of their work at half term.
