DRESSAGE rider Alice Oppenheimer turned on the style to win her opening competition of 2016.

The 26-year-old Team GB member and Headmore Delegate, bred at the family stud at Four Marks, reigned supreme at the Addington Manor High Profile Show in Buckinghamshire, with all three judges placing the pair first. Alice and Headmore scored an impressive 71.77 per cent in the Grand Prix class.

Alice, who is on the Lottery-funded World Class Podium Potential squad, was delighted with ‘Del’. She said: “I wasn’t too sure if we were going to compete here. I had the date in the diary and as he had been going so well in training, I thought it would be a good opportunity to blow away the cobwebs. The result was the icing on the cake and a great start to the year.”

Her next outing with Headmore Delegate will be in March when they travel to Doha, Qatar to represent Team GB.
