ALTON Town reacted to the shocking news that they have been given notice by their landlords in a most positive fashion, scoring 15 goals in two games.

After their cup romp in midweek against near-neighbours Four Marks, Alton blitzed fellow league strugglers New Milton on Saturday.

The goal glut followed the announcement last week that Molson Coors Brewery had instructed Alton to quit the old Bass Sports Ground in Anstey Road – the club's home for nearly 30 years – at the end of the season.
