THE fifth Petersfield Triathlon looks set to have its biggest entry yet when it takes place on Sunday, September 25.
Run by Petersfield Triathlon Club and supported by Churchers College, the competitors plunge into the school’s swimming pool before setting off on the bike ride through the stunning South Downs countryside, ending with a run round the town and back to the College.
Kim King, chair of Petersfield Tri, said: “As a sprint triathlon, it is a great event for both beginners and more experienced triathletes. Whether you join forces with one or two friends and enter as a team, or do all three stages yourself, the supportive atmosphere will keep you going.”
The event will again support local charity FitzRoy, having raised £5000 last year.
