ALDERSHOT TOWN 1 BRAINTREE TOWN 3
ANDY Scott apologised for an abject Aldershot Town performance as the dysfunctional element to his side once again reared its ugly head on Tuesday. Braintree's comfortable victory was reward for all the qualities their hosts lacked – strength, passion, organisation and a dash of match-winning quality. Aldershot failed to even muster the second-half comeback which has already rescued them several times this season. "We were second best all over the pitch, nowhere near where we should have been. We got bullied," was the manager's verdict for the second match running. "The three goals we conceded were shockers. "We didn't deserve anything. There are no excuses, we all hold our hands up – myself, the players and staff have got to have a real good look at what we're doing." For full story, see this week's Farnham Herald.
