Chiddingfold are top of the I’Anson Cricket League Division One following a four-wicket win against Blackheath.
Blackheath posted 206 for seven (Vickers 77, Jordaan 3-21) but Chiddingfold made 210 for six (Benbough 54, Fouche 76, Harrison 3-59) in reply.
It was a disastrous afternoon for second-placed Frensham. Having bowled out Puttenham & Wanborough for a modest 156 (Pow 3-22, Knight 3-31), they crashed to 81 all out (Ilyas 6-26) to lose by 75 runs.
Elstead gained ground on Dogmersfield in the battle for third. Elstead made 187 all out (Lincoln 87, Shinwari 4-39, Dhaniyal 3-21) and bowled out Dogmersfield for 163 (Dilawar 56, Lincoln 3-18, Scott 3-54, Terry 3-49).
Tilford pulled themselves away from relegation trouble with a narrow win over struggling Frimley in a low-scoring match. Having bowled out Frimley for 102 (Wrenn 3-29, Bozier 4-31), Tilford edged home on 103 for seven (Milford 3-30, Hattey 3-33).
Grayswood are rooted to the bottom having lost the basement battle with Farncombe. Grayswood made 169 all out (Luff 4-24) but Farncombe notched 172 for five (Jaggard 68) to win by five wickets.
In Division 2, Grayshott pulled away from third-placed Bramley in a battle for the second promotion place behind Blackheath’s 2nd XI.
Grayshott posted 186 for nine (Orchard 80, Hutchinson 55, Kelly 3-39) then bowled out Bramley for 169 (Wright 74, Lewis 4-33) to win by 17 runs.
Runs were at a premium as Fernhurst faced Headley, Whitehill & Bordon. Bottom club Fernhurst were bowled out for 77 (Hall 3-38, Johnson 6-28) before Headley, Whitehill & Bordon scraped home on 78 for eight (Crowder 5-11).
Frensham’s 2nd XI were all out for 279 (Baldock 84, French 4-67, Gautam 3-71) before dismissing Shalford for 194 (Young 4-56, de Mierre 4-27) to record a comfortable victory.
The Bourne are in the relegation zone after losing a basement battle to Worplesdon & Burpham. The Bourne were dismissed for 136 (Rogers 4-28) and Worplesdon & Burpham cruised home on 137 for five.
In Division 3, leaders Badshot Lea hit an impressive 283 all out (Aryobi 106, Johnson 5-43) then dismissed Haslemere for 162 (Wright 60, Dawlat 4-37) to win by 121 runs.
In the battle of the bottom two, Tilford’s 2nd XI lost heavily to Brook, who made 192 for eight (Giblet 114, Knott 4-26). Tilford were all out for 103.
There was a draw between second-placed Churt & Hindhead and Puttenham & Wanborough’s 2nd XI. Churt & Hindhead made 281 for seven (Talbot 166, Ahmed 3-81, Tahlat 3-53), but Puttenham & Wanborough replied with 244 for eight (Ahmed 121, Dhabadgonkar 3-40).
In Division 4, Dogmersfield’s 2nd XI made 250 for eight (Khan 126, Raza 53) but Frensham’s 3rd XI replied with 207 for seven (Frost 77, Morris 89, Jamal 4-23) to secure a draw.
Also earning a draw were Grayshott’s 2nd XI, who made 168 for eight (Mulock-Bentley 3-42) and saw Farncombe’s 2nd XI reply with 118 for six (Wheble 3-6).
A torrid season for Grayswood’s 2nd XI continued as the bottom club were hammered by runaway leaders Frimley Phoenix, who posted 285 for two (Warren 97, Samaratunge 95 not out) before skittling out Grayswood for 60 (Manhas 4-8).
Headley, Whitehill & Bordon’s 2nd XI remain in the relegation zone after losing to mid-table neighbours Kingsley. Headley, Whitehill & Bordon made 162 for four but Kingsley cruised home with 164 for two.
In Division 5, second-placed Milford kept up their promotion charge by demolishing Alton’s 4th XI. Milford rattled up 239 without loss (Bierton 105 not out, Gregory 106 not out) and dismissed Alton for a paltry 48.
Leaders Harting romped past third-placed Chiddingfold 2nd XI, who made 74 all out (Jones 4-9). Harting replied with 77 for four (Campling 3-6).
Wrecclesham made 172 for nine against Liphook’s 3rd XI, who replied with 112 for eight (Starkie 57 not out, Iyer 5-28) to earn a draw.
In Division 6, second-placed Farnham 3rd XI made 221 all out (Guest 50, Rebello 4-32) and dismissed bottom club Frimley 3rd XI for 143 (Hooker 3-5).
Grayswood’s 3rd XI made 235 for four (Plummer 73, Cooley 107 not out) but could only draw against Brook’s 2nd XI, who replied with 103 for seven.
Fernhurst’s 2nd XI made only 110 all out but that was enough to beat Guildford’s 4th XI, who were dismissed for 94 (Adey 3-22, Lockett 6-19).
Haslemere’s 2nd XI made 169 all out (Seymour 3-27, Robertson 3-32) but Frensham’s 4th XI replied with 117 for nine (Robertson 73 not out, Bacon 6-8) to snatch a draw.
The Bourne’s 2nd XI posted 150 for seven but leaders Bramley 2nd XI won easily with 151 for three.
In Division 7, Badshot Lea’s 2nd XI remain rooted to the bottom after being bowled out for 52 (Thapa 4-7) by Frimley Phoenix’s 2nd XI, who won with 56 for one.
Leaders Churt & Hindhead 2nd XI scored a massive 366 for four (Plaistowe 188, Rafferty 53) then reduced Headley, Whitehill & Bordon’s 3rd XI to 69 all out (Lill 3-11) to win by 297 runs.
Elstead’s 2nd XI made 220 for three (Jones 106 not out) to beat Grayshott’s 3rd XI, who replied with 166 for six (Thampi 54, Tilson 3-40).
