THE 43rd Talmag Trophy trial for classic pre-1967 four-stroke motor cycles and sidecars took place on Sunday, January 29.
Conditions were good at the Hungry Hill venue, near Aldershot, and many clean sheets were recorded, with the final placings decided by special test.
The top six in the Over 300cc with Rear Suspension class all had zero marks lost, with Peter Gray taking first place on his Ariel 500 on the special test.
Paul Fishlock and Debbie Merrell won the Sidecar class for a third successive year – a remarkable achievement. They guided their Ariel HT5 to a clearcut victory over Lee Granby and Les Ashby.
