Keith Ellis took an I’Anson XI to Puttenham on Sunday for the annual President’s match which followed the usual generous lunch. But the weather refused to relent and play was abandoned at tea when Puttenham, the reigning I’Anson champions, had reached 245-9. Fifteen-year-old Charlie Neville of Headley CC became probably the youngest player to represent the I’Anson and was presented with his cap by the president.
