Local cricket fans saw Gordon Greenidge, one of the game’s legends, in action when Odiham & Greywell hosted Lashings All Stars last Friday. Greenidge, the former West Indies and Hampshire opener, was joined in the Lashings line-up by Monty Panesar, Herschelle Gibbs, Phil DeFreitas and John Emburey, while the BBC’s Henry Blofeld supplied some commentary. Not surprisingly, Odiham were outclassed in the T25 game. Lashings piled up 230-6 and Odiham replied with a respectable 149-6. (photo Anthony Ainslie)
