FARNHAM aim to bounce back from relegation this season and will be putting their faith in a promising crop of young players.
The club hopes a mix of experience and youth will serve them well as they prepare to compete in Division Two, the third tier of the Surrey Championship.
Tom Grimes is the new 1st XI captain, thus ending a long tenure by the Hicks brothers, Tom and Guy, during which Farnham have experienced both promotion and relegation, but failed to regain the heady heights of Premier Division cricket.
Ciaran Rooney remains vice-captain, while the vastly experienced Ian Thorpe continues to lead the 2nd XI. Dan Jones will captain the 3rd XI.
Senior nets take place at Weydon School on Sunday mornings, with youth sessions at All Hallows School on Saturday afternoons. For more details, visit the website http://farnhamcc.co.uk
