HASLEMERE beat second-placed Alleyn at the Rec to record their second win in the Surrey Championship Division Five.

Simon Eastment was again top scorer, with 34, and he and Alex Hooker (26) shared a crucial 61-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Six other batsmen reached double figures against accurate bowling and the home side posted a competitive 178 all out in the 47th over.
Tom Eadon, coming on fourth change, recorded the best figures for Alleyn, taking 4-31 in his ten overs.
Alleyn looked well on course for victory while Eadon (40) and Dan Goodwin (45) were batting together.
Keaghan Cronin broke the stand and the visitors, 90-3 at one stage, collapsed to 126 all out, with Hooker and Sam Williams sharing the last five wickets. Opening bowler Chris May recorded excellent figures of 10-3-17-3
