Jack Myers elected to bat at Jubilee and a 50-ball 54 from Dan Hutton had Alton strongly placed at 64-1 at 10 overs.
But they could not kick on from there. They needed 150 on the board, but although Hutton and Scott Myers (27) added a further 42, Lymington kept a lid on the run-rate and Alton were contained to 126-7 from their 20 overs.
The New Forest side began shakily, losing a wicket to Jack Myers in the first over and then slipping to 66-4. But Felix Ambrose broke the shackles and his very fast 43 off 29 balls, including four fours and a six, saw Lymington home with seven balls to spare and five wickets intact.
Sarisbury, inserted at Ripsley Park, amassed 161-7, a total that proved well beyond Liphook.
Jack Cambell took an early wicket, but Basil Akram set the tone of the innings by hitting 27 off 15 balls.
Peter Hammond (36), Harry Hovey (39) and Sam Floyd (23 not out) followed his lead and the Liphook bowlers came in for some stick, the exceptions being young Campbell (1-11 in 4 overs) and skipper Charles Janczur who picked up 3-21.
Giles Cover (39 off 42 balls) led Liphook’s run-charge after the early dismissal of Suman Ganguly, but a flurry of wickets to Shayne Freemantle (3-22) and Hammond (2-15) ended their chances. Harry Munt hit two defiant sixes in an 11-ball 22 before Liphook were all out for 120 in 17 overs.
