FARNHAM Town put their indifferent league form behind them and won 4-3 at CB Hounslow on Tuesday in an eventful Combined Counties Premier Challenge Cup first-round match.
Badshot Lea lost 4-3 at home to Colliers Wood in the league.
This Friday (Sept 9), Badshot Lea host Farnham in an intriguing FA Vase tie. The match was switched from Saturday because Ash United, Badshot Lea’s temporary landlords, have an FA Vase home tie of their own.
Farnham and Badshot Lea, currently third and second from bottom in the CCL Premier Division, both lost last Saturday. Abbey Rangers trounced the Baggies 4-0. Luke Whiddett put Farnham ahead after 17 minutes at Knaphill, but Danny Taylor soon equalised and he went on to score Knaphill’s winner in the 68th minute.
