HEADLEY recorded an important 3-2 win over fellow strugglers Stockbridge.

But Headley had to come from behind, with Matt Rayner equalising and then converting a penalty to make it 2-1 at half-time. Lee Coyne added a third before Stockbridge pulled back a late second goal.

Len Burney ran riot for Liss Athletic, scoring four times in their 6-2 win at Infinity. Tommy Woodward and Perry Easton scored the other two Liss goals.

Liphook took a share of the points with a 3-3 draw away to Paulsgrove. But Liphook had to rely on a late own goal after earlier strikes from Marcus Bedford and Sam Gray.

In Division One, goal-machine Steve Brown scored all four goals as Four Marks beat Sway 4-0. Two of Brown’s goals came in the first opening eight minutes.

Louis Searle scored the only goal of the game as AFC Petersfield beat Netley Central 1-0.

* In a mid-week match, Liss Athletic reached the Puma League Cup final, but only after winning a penalty shoot-out against Baffins Milton. It was 3-3 after extra time, with Aaron Fennemore and Bryn McKie (2) scoring for Liss, who then won an epic shoot-out 7-6.

* Liphook Reserves reached the final of the Aldershot FA Junior Cup after winning a thrilling penalty shoot-out against Hartley Wintney A.

It was 1-1 after extra time and Liphook eventually triumphed 7-6 on penalties.

The other semi-final also finished 1-1 after extra time. Mytchett then beat Ropley 4-3 in the shoot-out.

Liphook and Mytchett will meet in the final at Aldershot Town’s EBB Stadium on Saturday, May 14 (ko 10.30am).
