FARNHAM Town Under-10 Dragons have won their first North East Hampshire Youth League cup final.

Playing against a strong Camberley Boys side, the Dragons came from a goal down to claim a clear 3-1 victory in their third cup final.

Farnham’s goals were scored by Lloyd Adams, James Goldsworth and their newest member, Luke Bricklebank.

It was fitting end to a successful season in Division Four of the NE Hampshire League. The Dragons lost only once and after finishing top of the table, should be promoted to Division Three next season.

Coach Jayne Burchett Vass said: “The team have showed massive promise throughout the season and we are so proud that they have achieved their dream of winning a cup final. It’s third time lucky for the boys and this is a true representation of their grit and determination.”

The cup will be presented at the league’s awards night at Prince’s Hall, Aldershot on Thursday, June 16.
