Farnham Town have signed defender Quinn Schutter on a one-year contract following his departure from Fulham.

The 18-year-old left-back came through the ranks of Fulham’s academy setup, making his debut in the under-18 Premier League in August 2023.

Schutter left Fulham this summer and joined up with Farnham in pre-season, appearing off the bench against Eastleigh in the Town’s final summer friendly.

“Quinn is a very promising young player and I believe he has a lot of untapped potential,” said Farnham Town manager Paul Johnson.

“He showed us in his playing time against Eastleigh that he was a very confident footballer, willing to commit to challenges and poses a threat going forward as well. He’s eager to carry the ball forward to ask questions of opposition defenders which is great.

“We believe Quinn will continue to improve in our environment this season and I’m pleased to be adding him to our group.”

Farnham Town chairman Harry Hugo added: “I enjoyed watching Quinn’s cameo on the weekend, he played with great confidence and showed his potential.

“Young players coming out of professional academies at this stage of their career need to find clubs that will give them a platform to continue their development and help aid their growth. That’s something I want to offer at Farnham.

“I’m excited to get Quinn into the building and around the group for the coming season.”
