HEAVY rain has hit today’s non-league football programme.
Badshot Lea’s scheduled Combined Counties League Premier Division clash at Redhill was called off around 12.20pm while Farnham Town, who suffered a rash of postponements in November, saw that trend continue when Division One opponents Chessington & Hook’s pitch failed an inspection at 9.30am.
Petersfield Town’s Sydenhams Wessex League Division One match with Andover Town at Love Lane has also fallen victim to a waterlogged pitch.
But Alton Town’s home game on the all-weather pitch at Anstey Park against New Milton Town in Division One of the Sydenhams Wessex League goes ahead, as does Alresford Town’s Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division clash with Bemerton Heath at Arlebury Park.
