LIPHOOK United strengthened their grip on second place in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division with a 2-0 win at local rivals Clanfield.
Victor Andrade scored in the first half, but Liphook left it until the 87th minute before making sure of the points, thanks to a timely goal from Marcus Bedford.
Division One also featured a local derby. Lowly Headley fought hard at Four Marks, but Daryl Blackman’s 50th-minute strike was enough to seal a 1-0 win for ’Marks.
With three games in hand, Four Marks are well placed to challenge leaders Sway for the championship.
Basement side AFC?Petersfield lost 1-0 at home to Upham.
