LIPHOOK drew 2-2 with Hayling United in the tussle for runners-up spot in the Hampshire Premier League.

Bush Hill, leaders by one point, but with many games in hand, are firm favourites for the title, while Hayling and Liphook head a pack of teams challenging for top-three places.

Hayling looked well on their way to victory at the Rec after goals from Jake Alford and Andy Brown had given them a 2-0 lead with 25 minutes to go.

But Toby Hutchins scored to give Liphook hope and Steve Harding completed the comeback with an 86th-minute equaliser.

Darren Ferguson, Harry Potter (2) and Mike Newman were on target as Clanfield trounced Winchester Castle 4-0.

The game between Liss Athletic and Fleetlands was postponed.
