ALDERSHOT Town have confirmed six pre-season friendlies in the build-up to 2016-17.

The campaign begins on Friday, July 1 with a home fixture against Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s QPR first team, followed by away matches against Vanarama National League South sides Gosport Borough, on Saturday, July 9, and Hampton & Richmond Borough – the newly-crowned Ryman Premier Division champions – on Saturday, July 16.

Further home fixtures are scheduled against SkyBet League One club MK Dons on Saturday, July 23 and League Two outfit Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday, July 26 (ko 7.30pm).

Finally, Aldershot will host League Two side Crawley Town at the EBB Stadium on Saturday, July 30. The Reds appointed Dermot Drummy as manager last month, with former Shots coach Matt Gray as his assistant.
