STRIKER Idris Kanu has signed his first professional contract, on the day he celebrated his 17th birthday, in a deal which will keep him at Aldershot Town until the summer of 2019.

Alton score stoppage-time equaliser to earn draw at Eversley & CaliforniaKanu has scored three goals in six starts since making his debut against Solihull Moors in October, and sealed Saturday’s 2-0 victory against Boreham Wood with a superb strike.
In doing so, Kanu has become both Aldershot Town’s youngest player (16 years 308 days) and youngest goal-scorer (16 years, 343 days) in a league fixture.
Kanu joined West Ham aged 11 and broke into their U21 team, aged just 15, last year. He also scored twice for Manchester United Academy during a trial in September.
