FARNHAM Golf Club Ladies played their first Medal of the season on the first day of spring (March 21).

The Silver Division winner was Val Talbot with a net 79, one stroke less than runner-up Melanie Wilson on 80. Pauline Stock won the Bronze Division with a net 74, on count-back from second-placed Carolyn McCulloch.

Lady Captain’s Charity Four-Ball Better-Ball (March 14): 1st, Val Talbot & Carolyn McCulloch (42 pts); 2nd, Elaine Lewis & Rita Phillips (40). This year’s charity is the RNLI.
