Farnham golfer Lottie Woad has been selected for England Golf's women’s team for the Home Internationals at Machynys Golf Club in Wales.
The internationals will be played from next Wednesday (August 9) until next Friday (August 11).
Sophia Fullbrook and Isla McDonald-O’Brien will make their first England Women’s appearances at the Home Internationals, while it will also be a women’s Home Internationals debut for Patience Rhodes and Jessica Hall.
The sister duo of Mimi Rhodes and Patience Rhodes add some experience to the women’s team, along with Rosie Belsham and Woad, who picked up silver medals with Patience for England Women at July’s European Team Championship.
Woad is representing Europe against Asia-Pacific this week in the Patsy Hankins Trophy.
Becca Hembrough, performance manager for women's golf, said: “This group has a strong combination of experience, form and a big desire to win points for England. It will be a great opportunity for them all to come together as a team at this exciting event.”
