COWDRAY Park Golf Club Seniors played the first round of four in the Captain’s Prize competition. The day went from dry and cold to wet and windy, and two greens were flooded by the finish.

Brian Heath was a clear winner with 43 points, earning him a three-shot handicap reduction.

John Renwick and Mike King tied for second place with 39 points.
